CRICCIETH
Criccieth is a beautiful small town on Cardigan Bay and is the start of the Llyn Peninsula. The town is a stunning seaside resort which boasts amazing views of the sea and mountains combined with a medieval castle as it’s back drop. It is the perfect location for vintage seaside holidays. Criccieth’s central location is also great for exploring North Wales.
With so much to see and do in Criccieth you don't really need to leave the town, but should you wish to venture a little further then there are 100's of attractions all within an hours drive.
We have not one but two Blue Flag beaches, one being directly outside Awel Mor. Criccieth Castle has breath taking views over Cardigan Bay and you will also have great views of Criccieth Town and Awel Mor.
If you fancy having some fun, you can hire Kayaks and Paddle Boards from Criccieth Multi Golf at the end of the Promenade. They also offer a 9-hole Pitch and Putt course where you can play Foot Golf and Frisbee Golf. There is a second pitch and putt course behind the high street where you can also play Crown Green Bowls.
You are spoilt for choice for places to eat in Criccieth, depending on what you fancy there are plenty of established restaurants, pubs, traditional tea rooms, cafes, fish and chip shops and a traditional ice cream parlour.
Criccieth high street boasts a host of unique independent shops. Ranging from gift shops, antique shops, craft shops, clothes shops, shoe shops, food shops and lots more.
